Who doesn’t love a cocktail? Delicious drinks of all shapes, sizes, colours and flavours, they’re just excellent. I’m rather partial to a cocktail (or five), so I was very happy to see that Be At One had opened up their second premises in Leeds, setting up on Boar Lane.
Be At One have been perfecting cocktails for nearly 20 years now, and with well over 100 cocktails on their signature menu, you have some tough decisions to make. All the bars have a great atmosphere, and you shouldn’t be surprised if you go in and find the bartenders standing on the bar whilst mixing your drinks. With so much to choose from, I’ve decided to make your life easier by sharing my picks for the best cocktails at Be At One!
I’m starting the highest of high points here. Meet the Buenot, the most luxurious cocktail you will ever have the pleasure of drinking. Made of white chocolate liqueur, salted caramel kahlua, ice cream and a white kinder bueno, this cocktail is literally perfection. If you could taste heaven, it would be a Buenot.
If you’re looking for a refreshing cocktail, then the English Fizz would definitely be my recommendation. Gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh mint, lemon juice, and a dash of cucumber syrup all combines together to make a delicious drink, perfect for a summer’s day.
I even had a go at making the cocktail myself! I’m so talented.
Porn Star Martini
A current cocktail classic, Be At One mix one of the best Porn Star Martini’s I’ve ever had. Some places I’ve been just don’t get the flavours right, but at Be At One the balance between the vanilla and passion fruit is perfect. Plus, who doesn’t love a shot of prosecco?
As the name suggests, the Twisted Mojito is a take on the cuban classic; trading rum for vodka. Another incredibly refreshing drink, the Twisted Mojito also has a splash of ginger ale to give the cocktail that extra bit of flavour.
Jager Mega Drive
And the award for the coolest cocktail name ever goes tooooooo… the Jager Mega Drive! Now this drink might not be your tipple of choice over the summer months, but this is definitely my ultimate winter drink. With jagermeister, chambord, blueberry jam, lemon juice, and maple syrup, this cocktail will certainly keep you warm when things start to cool down.
